An exciting new chapter in Road Runner’s history!

The secret is out! We’ve been planning and looking forward to this day for over five years! Our new 20,000 square foot facility in Leesburg is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Road Runner Wrecker Service.

Prior to our new location, our towing division was based in Sterling while our Truck Shop was based in Purcellville. Having both teams under one roof will allow us to have a consistent flow of communication throughout the divisions. . Our Truck Shop provides maintenance and repairs on our tow truck fleet so having everyone under one roof will increase productivity for the company as a whole.

The new Leesburg facility is also home to the first commercial truck wash in Northern Virginia! Over the past (nearly!) thirty years in the industry, we’ve had the pleasure of building relationships with all of our customers. This allows us to identify their needs and come up with solutions for them. One of those needs was a truck wash in the local area!

The closest commercial truck wash is over 70 miles away in Fredericksburg, making it difficult to get a professional, quick wash. Our Truck Wash includes break-away, fast-moving doors, undercarriage spray, spot-free rinse, heated pressure wash, and choices of materials/soaps! Even better? Just like Road Runner Towing Service … the truck wash will be open 24/7!.

It’s been an exciting 29 years. We went from one (used) tow truck and a brick-shaped cell phone in 1992 to over 50 tow trucks and 65 employees in 2021! Our new facility will give us the chance to add 15 more employees to the Road Runner family. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter has in store for us!
