A customer’s dump truck took a nasty spill and to make matters worse, it was still half loaded with some heavy-duty stones. They immediately knew who to call and who could handle this job – Road Runner!
The expert dump truck towing team was quick to respond with their impressive arsenal of heavy-duty vehicles. This included their 2016 Peterbilt 389 50-ton wrecker, a 2022 Kenworth 50-ton rotator, and a trusty Bobcat with a smooth bucket attachment.
Upon arrival, the team met with the VDOT and the trailer driver and wasted no time getting to work. First, they had to first finish unloading the dump truck and clean up the area completely. Once that was done, they rigged up a high line at the rear and a low line at the front to roll the truck over.
It wasn’t a simple job, but with the team’s expertise and advanced equipment, they managed to pull the truck up the hill and get it towed away. Road Runner recently received a request for dump truck towing in Sterling, VA, along Route 7 and Route 28. The customer’s dump truck rolled over into the median and his dump truck was still half-loaded with stone.
A dump truck towing team was quickly dispatched to the scene. They brought with them a 2016 Peterbilt 389 50-Ton Wrecker, a 2022 Kenworth 50-Ton Rotator, and a Bobcat with a smooth bucket attachment.
Upon arriving on the scene, the dump truck towing team was met with the VDOT and the trailer driver. The dump truck towing crew secured the area and got to work. First, they had to finish unloading the dump truck and provide a full-clean up of the area. Once the truck was unloaded, they rigged a high line at the rear and a low line at the front to roll over.
Once rolled over, the truck was pulled up the hill the rest of the way. To complete the dump truck towing, they then towed the truck away. Unfortunately, there was damage to the cab and oil leaking out of the trailer.
