Construction Equipment Hauling with 60 Ton Rotator

Construction Equipment Hauling Team Picks Up Electric Box … One Year Later!

Road Runner’s construction equipment hauling team deposited a temporary electric box at a construction site in Ashburn, VA, one year ago. The temporary electric box was used to provide power to the workers as they built the massive shopping center, helping them to test electrical installations throughout the building.

With the project coming to a close, a permanent electric box was installed at the shopping mall. Road Runner received the call that it was time to pick up the box and transport it back to their customer’s lot for storage.

Bo responded to the call with his trusty 60 ton rotator and a lowboy trailer. Lowboy trailers are often used to transport heavy and oversized equipment, including temporary electric boxes! Bo has been working with the construction equipment hauling team for quite some time so he made easy work of lifting the structure onto the lowboy trailer.

Bo used wire rope to secure the temporary electric box and then proceeded to lift it into the air, center it over the lowboy, and safely lower it onto the trailer. Once he secured the electric box, he drove it to the customer’s lot where it would be stored until the next job.

Great work out there, Bo!

Details of Construction Equipment Hauling Team Picks Up Electric Box … One Year Later!

The construction equipment hauling team at Road Runner was requested at the site of a shopping mall in Ashburn, VA. One year ago, the construction equipment hauling team had transported a temporary electric box to the site. The customer then called Road Runner in order to pick up the temporary electric box as it was no longer needed.

The construction equipment hauling team arrived at the shopping center with a 60 ton rotator and a lowboy trailer. Once on-site, the construction equipment towing team used wire rope to wrap around the electric box. Once the wire rope was in place, the construction equipment hauling used their 60 ton rotator to lift the temporary electric box.

The construction equipment hauling team moved the temporary electric box to the lowboy trailer. With the temporary electric box centred over the lowboy trailer, the construction equipment hauling slowly lowered the box onto the trailer. The construction equipment towing team then secured the electric box in place.

With the box secure, Road Runner’s construction equipment hauling team then hauled the electrical box to the customer’s secure lot where the customer would store it until they needed it for another project.
